Event Description

Bridging the gap between theory and practice, NABCA's Branch Campus Leadership Institute helps attendees gain the leadership knowledge and skills needed to make a positive impact on higher education.

The Leadership program provided through the Branch Campus Leadership Institute is a eight month program conducted via Zoom that culminates with a Capstone presentation given IN PERSON at the National Association of Branch Campus Administrators (NABCA) annual conference in Spring 2026 (location TBA).  The capstone project brings to bear the analytic abilities, professional understanding, and contextual knowledge accrued and sharpened throughout the program and closely mirrors the challenges found in modern-day higher education. In-person attendance at the 2027 Annual Conference is a requirement for successful completion of this program. (Please note: Conference registration and travel expenses/arrangements are not included in BCLI IX tuition and are the responsibility of each participant and/or their institution.)

Program Highlights: Only one session a month (12:30 - 5p.m. on the 3rd Tuesday of each month from August 2026 through March 2027. Each attendee with be assigned a mentor to help guide them through the process and aid them in selecting an appropriate topic for their Capstone Case Study.
